ACRYLAN ELASTIC White 10 L

Acrylic 100%, elastomeric insulating paint for exterior use. It can be applied to both old and new surfaces such as plaster, renderings, concrete, bricks etc. It exhibits an excellent watertight film, great hiding power, excellent whiteness and high durability even if exposed to adverse weather conditions or pollutants in a seaside or industrial environment. It covers completely all existing small expansions and contractions of the surface, retaining its elasticity and durability to temperatures from -25 ° C to + 110 ° C.

Acrylan Elastic is certified from the University of Athens, department of Physics as a cool paint characterized by high solar reflectance value (SR), high infrared emittance (ε) and high reflectance index value (SRI).
COLOURS
Available in white and an unlimited number shades through Vitex Coloring System.SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint. Acrylan Elastic is directly applied on already painted surfaces as long as the old paint is sound.
To fill any cracks or holes use Acrylic Putty.
Surfaces previously covered with water paints or distempers (lime wash or ceiling white) should be primed with Acrylan Unco Eco, Durovit or Vitosin.
New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, plasterboard, etc. should be first primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.

APPLICATION

Stir well before use. Apply two coats by roller, brush or airless spray gun diluted 0-10% with water. Do not apply at temperature below 5°C, above 35°C and/or relative humidity above 70%. Avoid application when rain or frost is expected in the next 48 hours. It is touch-dry after 2-3 hours and can be recoated after 6-8 hours. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature). Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or a detergent.
