VITEX with VAIRO is a wall color with a velvety matte (eggshell) finish with Antibacterial and Antibacterial properties for indoor use. Its composition helps to create a dry film against the transfer of viruses and to limit the spread and spread of bacteria on its surface. VAIRO Healthcare Technology is based on silver ions properly enclosed in an inorganic matrix, in order to achieve their controlled release in both wet and dry conditions. The interior wall surfaces painted with VITEX with VAIRO offer protection against the bacteria Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumannii, Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus, E.Coli, St.Aureus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Enterococcus Hirae, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, but also against the influenza virus H1N1, in the Human Corona virus OC43, Human Corona virus 229E, Human Corona virus SARS-CoV2 as well as in the phi6 virus, MS2 virus, which are substitutes for many enveloped or non-enveloped viruses respectively. Designed with surface protection technology, the paint film is resistant to absorbing common household stains making them easier to remove even after a long period of time (CRGI Report No M2020353-3). PROCESSING

The surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oil or any friable materials. On already painted without problems and fragile spots no special preparation is required and Vitex with VAIRO is applied directly.
Acrylic Putty or Visto or Light Acrylic Putty (highly recommended) is used for caulking the holes and patching any cracks.
Old water-colored surfaces (with lime or glue) are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco. New surfaces of plaster, concrete, brick, plasterboard, etc., as well as
spatulated, they are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco.
Surfaces stained by nicotine, tobacco, markers, coffee and other types of stains are primed with Blanco Eco.
For maximum coverage on dark and intense (such as blue, red and yellow) final shades, it is recommended to first apply PreColor Primer colored through the Vitex Coloring system according to the final shade to the surfaces to be painted.

APPLICATION

Dilute up to 10% with water and stir well before use. We apply the first layer with a roller, brush or airless gun. Repaint after 3-4 hours. Apply at 5-35°C and <80% RH. The product must be colored exclusively with the Vitex Coloring system in the recommended coloring base. The tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and, if necessary, with soap or detergent. Surfaces painted with Vitex with VAIRO are washed using a soft sponge with water and in the case of stubborn stains with a mild, colorless detergent, after at least three weeks of painting.
