VITEX BLANCO ECO White Acrylic Ecological water primer 9lt

Ecological, white matte, water-soluble substrate based on 100% acrylic resins of new technology for internal and external surfaces of wallpaper, wood, etc.. It is certified according to the criteria of the Ecolabel Awarding Council of the European Union. It is very covering, easy to apply, dries quickly, has a high performance and is a suitable substrate for all water-soluble paints (plastics, acrylics, water-based varnish paints, cement paints, relief, etc.). It improves the appearance, coverage, adhesion and durability of the final color. Its special composition allows it to effectively cover tobacco, citrinils, dirt and many types of stains, such as nicotine, marker, juice, coffee, etc. as well as wood tannins. It works perfectly as an intermediate layer for the transition from dark to light shades, reducing the required “hands” on the final color. It has a low odor during its application because it does not contain ammonia or other dangerous substances such as aromatic hydrocarbons, free formaldehyde, heavy metals or alkylphenol ethoxylate compounds.

PROCESSING The surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oils or any friable materials. Acrylic Putty or Visto is used to putty the holes and putty any cracks. Sand the surface well and make sure it is completely dry before priming. APPLICATION The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in one layer by roller or brush diluted 5-10% with water or airless gun diluted 10-15% with water. In the case of applying dark shades of the final color, you can initially prime the surface with Blanco Eco as is or colored lightly in the tone of the desired final shade, through the Vitex Coloring Shade Creation system. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5^oC, higher than 35^oC and/or relative humidity above 80%. The product is dry to the touch in 30-60 minutes and repainted after 2-3 hours with Vitex plastic or acrylic paints. For difficult stains, we get better results if repainting is done after 24 hours. These times vary according to weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). After applying the paint, seal the container tightly and store at temperatures between 5^oC and 35^oC for future use. Tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and if necessary with soap or detergent.
